Director, Chicago Area Schweitzer Fellows Program - Health & Medicine Policy Research Group

Updated: about 2 months ago
Location: Chicago, ILLINOIS
Deadline: 09 May 2022

The Health & Medicine Policy Research Group is hiring for a director-level position based in the Chicago area. Health & Medicine began as an independent public health and health care policy think tank to address health inequities in Illinois. In addition to our policy advocacy, we run programming primarily focused on public health workforce training and development.

The Schweitzer Fellowship is an interdisciplinary/interprofessional service learning program that admits a diverse cohort of graduate and professional students pursuing health careers (medicine, nursing, social work, dentistry, public health, psychology, and more). The position is well-suited for people with a strong service learning foundation, experience managing partnerships and student field placements with a range of community-based organizations, familiarity with foundational health equity concepts, and interest in teaching/training/mentorship.
