Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide daily nutrition care for patients throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include medical nutrition therapy of inpatients in specialized areas like pediatrics, eating disorders, GI, enteral nutrition, critical care, oncology, renal, or cardiology; including assessment, documentation, implementation, monitoring, education and reassessment of the care plan, patient education, and referral for further care at discharge from UCLA Health network.
You will cover as a unit dietitian throughout the week, weekends and holidays. You will assist with Computrition tasks, menu entry, menu modification, food allergies and other nutrition tasks as needed.
Additionally, you will participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees, in-services, and performance improvement.
