Position Overview

The Document Management System team in the Office of Advancement Records is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Development Services Assistant to provide data management support. Historical documents must be reviewed, redacted of restricted data imported into OnBase and reindexed so that the documents can be easily retrieved by staff and part of Advancements Document Retention and Destruction policy. This position must often solve problems that require a moderate degree of responsibility and judgement, in addition to bringing up inconsistencies during team meetings for team review. Must be skilled in assisting with multiple projects and tasks throughout the organization that contribute to our success.

Duties and Responsibilities

80%:

  • Data management via computer working independently and with team members.

  • Document Review to determine correct document type and keyword values for quality assurance.

  • Identifying and redacting restricted data in compliance with business rules and data privacy policies.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in indexing and redactions and maintaining business rules and standards for constituents and records in the OnBase Document Management System.

20%:

  • Researching background information.

  • Updating records and demographic information through various projects and error reports.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Associate degree in relevant field.

  • One (1) years of relevant experience.

  • Experience using OnBase by Hyland Content Management Software.

  • Experience multi-tasking and manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Experience with OnBase System Administration, and/or OnBase Workflow Administration in a business and operations role.
