Description
Participates in the development and implementation of advancement programs (annual funds, alumni relations, special events, stewardship, public relations, etc.); plans and executes related activities and administrative functions; provides technical knowledge and experience in basic fund-raising principles and advancement activities.

Development Coordinator will:
- Serve as the lead stewardship officer for Cougar Pride, UH’s Athletics fundraising division.
- Assume a leading role with gift processing, recording, receipting and gift acknowledgement for Cougar Pride.
- Drive consistent and strategic collaboration with the Office of Advancement’s stewardship division.
- Comprehensively manage donor / customer information to assist the Chief Development Officer with timely, accurate reporting on philanthropic fundraising, premium sales, season ticket sales and donor count.
- Assist the Chief Development Officer to ensure that Cougar Pride benefits are contemporary, effective and duly fulfilled.
- Serve as Cougar Pride’s event management lead, assisting the Chief Development Officer in overseeing functions to include:
- Cougar Football and Men’s Basketball parking
- Day of game donor engagement / hospitality
- Suite and premium seat services
The successful candidate will be well versed in key software systems and possess proven communications skills. Familiarity with leading graphic design tools such as Photoshop would be considered a highly positive attribute.
Qualifications
Bachelors and 3 years experience
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
Salary: 3,442.00 - 4,388.00
