The CNS Development Team dual reports to the Division of University Advancement and the CNS Dean. The team’s role is to coordinate efforts to raise funds for the College and support all departmental fundraising initiatives.

Position Summary
The Office of Advancement in the College of Natural Sciences at Colorado State University is seeking a Development Associate. We anticipate 20-30 hours of work per week. This position is temporary, and will end January 13th, 2023.
The Development Associate will report directly to the CNS Managing Director of Development, and will play an integral role in assisting with the operational and administrative activities that support the College’s fundraising goals.
Position Minimum Qualifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft software
  • Ability to engage and communicate with diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, and prioritize work to maximize productivity
  • Ability to assist with writing, and communication from and on behalf of the CNS development team
  • Ability to respond effectively to constructive feedback
