Special Instructions to Applicants: | Special Instructions: This is a grant-funded position for the Humphrey Building Remodel Project with a term of 20 months and ending August 2025. This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. Position Purpose | 1. Manage all aspects of design, construction, and renovation projects on University property including the management of architectural/engineering design, planning, program development, bidding, contract administration, and construction of all externally contracted design and construction projects as well as those performed in-house from project initiation through design, contract award through the completion of the warranty period (Cradle to Grave). 2. Consistent coordination and/or monitoring of outside architectural and engineering design consultants, construction management firms, and contractors on assigned projects as well as in-house designers, draftsperson(s), clerical and other assigned support staff. |

Experience | 1. Three (3) years’ experience in management of planning processes, to include: collaborative activity with user groups; interface with architects/engineers in planning and construction management; coordination with internal and external construction personnel; land planning and development; and, general oversight of budgetary activities related to construction. 2 Experience with Computer Assisted Design. |
