This is a grant-funded position for the Humphrey Building Remodel Project with a term of 20 months and ending August 2025.
This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. Position Purpose
1. Manage all aspects of design, construction, and renovation projects on University property including the management of architectural/engineering design, planning, program development, bidding, contract administration, and construction of all externally contracted design and construction projects as well as those performed in-house from project initiation through design, contract award through the completion of the warranty period (Cradle to Grave).
2. Consistent coordination and/or monitoring of outside architectural and engineering design consultants, construction management firms, and contractors on assigned projects as well as in-house designers, draftsperson(s), clerical and other assigned support staff.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Education may be substituted for experience or experience may be substituted for education.
Note that equivalencies are based on the following: AA = 2 years experience; BA/BS = 4 years experience; MA/MS = 6 years experience; PhD = 8 years experience.
Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation, Other - AutoCAD, Critical Path scheduling software, RS Means estimating software.
Experience
1. Three (3) years’ experience in management of planning processes, to include: collaborative activity with user groups; interface with architects/engineers in planning and construction management; coordination with internal and external construction personnel; land planning and development; and, general oversight of budgetary activities related to construction.
2 Experience with Computer Assisted Design.
