Job Summary | The Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer (Deputy CHRO) reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The position plans, organizes, directs and reviews the administrative and operational activities of the Department of Human Resources. The Deputy Chief Human Resources Officer oversees various human resources’ projects and services, ensuring alignment with university’s strategic goals. The Deputy CHRO is crucial to modernizing human resources practices and processes and acts on behalf of the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Human Resources Officer, leading and representing the department in the CHRO’s absence or as requested. Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
Hybrid work options may be available. Work will be performed primarily on the UW-Milwaukee campus, with requests for remote work considered after the initial training period. Specifics regarding work location requirements will be discussed during the interview process. |

Target Salary Range | $110,900 - $122,400. Final salary will be determined based off qualifications and experience. |
