Job Description:

The Dallas Campus of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, located in Richardson, Texas, seeks an assistant/associate professor to join our exciting and innovative Department of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for Fall 2022. We train masters and doctoral-level professionals by providing the highest quality training in ABA, EAB, Organizational Behavior Management (OBM), and radical behaviorism. Review of applicants will continue until filled.

Ideal applicants will demonstrate innovation; commitment to community engagement; proven skills in graduate-level teaching; commitment to scholarship and service; dedication to preparing excellent future ABA professionals, and substantial ABA service delivery experience.

Principal Duties:

  • Teach students at a graduate level in topics related to OBM, Basic, and Applied Behavior Analysis in fully onground and blended modalities

  • Contribute to curriculum design and departmental development

  • Monitor student learning outcomes and progress

  • Provide academic advisement and field supervision to ABA students

  • Prepare students to pass the BCBA® Exam and to work as independent professionals

  • Chair and act as reader on thesis and dissertation committees

  • Interact and communicate successfully with a diverse population

  • Act in a way that embodies the mission, vision, and values of The Chicago School

  • Adhere to all confidentiality requirements

  • Perform other duties as assigned by department chair

  • Maintains knowledge of local and national training, credentialing, and licensing requirements

  • Understands and has the ability to navigate multiple levels of program hierarchies

  • Possesses computer proficiency in MS Office and online learning platforms

Position Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification preferred

  • Must have doctoral degree

  • Expertise across multiple ABA areas and skills, such as OBM, verbal behavior, social justice, and clinical behavior analysis (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

Compensation & Benefits

This opportunity is budgeted at $70,000-80,000 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
