Position Description:

This position provides clerical, administrative and research support to multiple unit-based fundraising professionals in support of the University's philanthropic activities and prospect management under the supervision of the Health Sciences Center (HSC) Development Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administrative support for development fundraising professionals on the HSC campus, including coordinating and managing office functions; scheduling events, meetings and visits for development officers; and prioritizing deadlines for multiple projects.
  • Assist with preparing Charitable Gift Agreements (CGA's) and other gift documentation and correspondence.
  • Identify processes and procedures throughout Advancement that impact fundraising activities. Assist with short-term projects and special assignments as assigned by fundraising professionals and the HSC Coordinator.
  • Maintain confidential donor correspondence files and records.
  • Process, draft and edit documents related to donor and prospect engagement.
  • Secure database reports and request additional reports as needed for donor research.
  • Forward donor data and related information to the Biographical Processing team to maintain the integrity of the University's alumni and donor database system.
  • Complete all expense and travel-related requests for development officers.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience supporting multiple individuals.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
