Position Key Accountabilities:
Qualifications:
- State-licensed dentist with significant experience in community-based dental clinic leadership and operations management.
- Proficient with EHR modules and reporting.
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and development of clinical best practice guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Demonstrates effectiveness in leadership, resolution strategies, and peer reviews, and builds consensus in motivating performance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency and experience preparing meeting agendas, presentations, reports, and performing analysis of clinical data reports supporting defined quality and performance metrics using Microsoft 365 software.
Licensure and Credentials:
- Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Texas
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Valid DEA registration
Skills and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based, person-centered dental care with a focus on disease prevention, quality, and value for the patient.
- Appreciation of the impact of the social determinants of health, the capacity to function successfully as part of a large team
Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
