The Decentralized Governance project will engage in research to support a legal article evaluating nonprofit foundation structures used by blockchain protocols.

Responsibilities

The Research Assistant will identify, collect, and organize governance structures for protocols across four regions (U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean). The Research Assistant will be expected to navigate international regimes —some data might not be explicitly available —and countries where English might not be the primary language.

Requirements

USF School of Law, law students, 2L or 3L

Estimated weekly hours

5 hours a week.

Qualifications

There are no prerequisite courses required. An interest in blockchain technology is required, while some familiarity with the space is preferred but not required. The Research Assistant will need to be able to use (or learn quickly) Google Sheets (or Airtable) for data management.
