Job Summary
Performance Analytics Center of Excellence (PACE) is seeking an experienced research analyst for the analysis of research and healthcare data in an enterprise environment in order to deliver relevant, timely, and insightful information to the Center.
This position will be responsible designing, documenting, testing, implementing. and managing data collection and reporting systems to support various research activities; developing utilities and complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting; performing data conversions from several data sources; establishing relevant trends, quickly identifying drivers in the data, and preparing reports and visualizations; and conducting simple statistical data analysis. This position will be a lot more involved in performance improvement projects to improve the hospital ratings.
The Data Research Analyst will also provide direction and guidance in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of third-party applications for the collection, management, and utilization of research data, and providing technical support to other developers, data managers, clinicians, and/or researchers.
This position supports our Advancing BEST Care program, focusing on eliminating unnecessary care variation. It reports both to the Chief Efficiency Officer and the PACE leadership.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Development and management skills in BI/BA tools, Tableau, SQL (eg T-SQL and
PL/SQL). Deep understanding of database management and data analysis principles.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science or Healthcare Information
Technology and experience in data systems support, analysis, implementation,
visualization, and/or operations, preferred.
