Job Overview

The Carl H. Lindner College of Business seeks a highly motivated and dynamic professional to perform business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining to create high-quality executive summaries, dashboards, and benchmark reports to be used for executive-level decision making. The Sr Data Reporting Analyst will report to the Executive Director of Strategic Operations. This position will also collaborate with other departments and units, as directed, to assist in solving challenging problems through data-driven solutions. An ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and technical skills and model the college's values that empower problem-solving and nurture our inclusive, collaborative, and caring community.


Essential Functions
  • Work directly with clients to identify business requirements.
  • Convert business requirements into developed reports.
  • Interpret results using a variety of statistical techniques
  • Rely on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience
  • One (1) year of business and/or ERP related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of systems and database administration.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Degree in business analytics, statistics, mathematics or related business degree preferred.


Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
