JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

We are accepting applications for a Data Modeling Analyst position! The Data Modeling Analyst designs, develops, implements, and supports automated dashboards, analyses, reports, and other mechanisms to provide data analysis and interpretation to leadership and stakeholders aimed at optimizing operations and achieving strategic goals.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, test, verify, implement, document, and support dashboard development to collect operational/strategic data and information for assigned area

  • Analyze user requirements, develop and implement the appropriate solution, and collaborate with end users, business analysts, data analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure systems function properly

  • Provide statistical analysis and ad hoc reporting to support data driven decision-making

  • Maintain documentation of developed dashboards, advanced logic and formulas, and custom code used within dashboard and web applications

  • Recommend best practices, promote labor-saving technology and improve quality and availability of decision influencing data.

  • Champion information literacy and efficiency through dashboard, application, and web site tools for stakeholders and customers.

  • Design and implement key organizational performance indicators to assist senior leadership in making decisions related to strategic planning

  • Develop analytical approaches, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to identify and segment data

  • Develop and maintain internal intranet site to support documentation, onboarding, and efficiency needs

  • Ensure that information security is maintained based on the appropriate policies and procedures

  • Provide technical support for dashboards and applications; provide end user support as needed

  • Participate in conferences and professional development activities; contribute to analytics-based groups within the University

Education and experience:

This position will be filled as an Advanced professional. Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$86,300.00 - $129,500.00
