Job Summary
The University of Kentucky Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement (UKPAE) is seeking a passionate Data and Technology Specialist with a knack for transforming raw data into actionable insights. This position will spearhead the management and analysis of critical data sets, leveraging expertise to drive informed decision-making processes. Responsibilities will extend to providing crucial support for our Marketing Cloud initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and optimization to amplify our outreach strategies. Additionally, this position will take the lead in overseeing event technology, utilizing innovative solutions to elevate our engagement with alumni, donors and other stakeholders. The incumbent will also manage the production of key reporting for the Alumni Association and partner with reporting processes in UKPAE Information Services.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members and partners.
• Understanding of higher education.;
• Knowledge in database tools, Microsoft office products.;
• Demonstrated connection or familiarity with the University of Kentucky.

Preferred Education/Experience
• Minimum of two years’ experience in technology, data or in a closely related field.; 
• Demonstrated organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communications skills.;
• The ability to work effectively with people as partners and team members.;
• Experience with data and technology
• Significant and progressively responsible experience in the management of data,
• Experience working with diverse groups of people and a demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
