JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, this position will play a pivotal role in building and operationalizing the data necessary for the enterprise data and analytics initiatives following industry standard practices and tools.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Builds, manages, and optimizes data pipelines and move the data pipelines effectively into production for key data and analytics consumers.
  • Ensures compliance with data governance and data security requirements while creating, improving, and operationalizing these integrated and reusable data pipelines.
  • Interface in operationalizing data and analytics on behalf of the business unit(s) and organizational outcomes.
  • Collaborates with key business stakeholders, IT experts and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver optimal analytics and data science solutions.
  • Collaborates with data scientists, data analysts and other data consumers on models and algorithms developed to optimize data quality, security and governance and process into production.
  • Promotes culture of automation and self-service.
  • Evaluates current and new tools to determine if they provide value. Report any finding to supervisor to help initiate implementation.
  • Evaluates current technical processes to determine areas for improvement, to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participates in testing efforts to ensure consistent, or even automated, test plans
  • Assists as needed with other projects
  •  



    Qualifications

     

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

     

    EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

     

    EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience working with data, databases, agile development methodologies or DevOps capabilities. (Experience in object-oriented programming languages and API design, preferred ).

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Knowledge in working with DevOps capabilities.
    • Ability to perform technical analysis of current and new systems.
    • Must have strong interpersonal skills and experience working on cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent oral and written skills.
    • Ability to work across multiple deployment environments and adept in agile methodologies.
    • Ability to design, implement, and maintain API’s.
