Description of Work
Peaceful Means, a Lakota-led sexual violence prevention project on Pine Ridge Reservation, evaluates all of the instructor-led programming. Data collectors are needed to assist with in-school data collection (e.g., pre and post- test surveys with youth in grades 3 to 12, fidelity forms). Data collectors will also assist with recruitment (e.g., collection of guardian consents) and retention efforts (e.g., calling youth who missed the in-school survey). Data collectors will also assist with community engagement (where recruitment is the main focus) and office work (e.g., processing consent forms, data entry). Hours are variable. Must be able to work some evenings, weekends, and early mornings.

Minimum Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent experience plus one (1) year of experience collecting research data. Must possess good interpersonal skills to connect with students and their families and a willingness/eagerness to learn about community- and school-based research. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or a degree in psychology, public health, social work, or a related field. One (1) year of experience working with community and/or school-based research or working in a school setting. Knowledge of community and/or school-based research.
