Data Collection Tool Specialist

The Data Collection Tool Specialist will be working with federally-funded research projects on child development in early education settings. The DCT Specialist will be tasked to create Teleform  and Qualtrics assessments including layout, variable naming & creation, and pre-population. This will also include the creation of logic pathways used in Qualtrics surveys (skip logic, display logic, loop-and-merge, validation, branching, etc.). The DCT Specialist will lead the Quality Assurance process, create survey variable keys, and assist the Data Manager with data dictionaries. 


The role will assist in data management and processing related activities including scanning/verification management. The DCT Specialist will also work closely with the Data Manager and project staff on data cleaning duties as assigned.  

This position can be primarily remote work, with occasional office visits as needed.



Additional Information:

Required: Previous experience as a Research Assistant or similar position involved in data collection, processing and analysis related activities, with a focus in technological facilitation and development. Experience with data collection tools, (e.g. Qualtrics, RedCap, Survey Monkey). Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite; data management and cleaning experience; Experience in social science research and/or related technology tasks.  


 


Desired Experience working on Early Childhood research projects; Experience working with diverse populations; Experience working with children, parents, and teachers. 

Pay range for the position $15.29-$20.54 per hour.
