Position Summary:

The Associate Director of CRM Administration is responsible for providing comprehensive support for Arkansas State University’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform – Slate. This position oversees administrative management, 3rd party integrations, systems technology support, and user training across all constituents using the institutional CRM. This position will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the institutional CRM platform and related tools, as well as enhancing user experience and optimizing CRM performance.
This individual works under the direction of the Director of CRM Administration within the Office of Distance Education & Technology.


Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provide support for institutional CRM platform in terms of management, administration, support, and training initiatives for both admissions and student success environments
    • Develop, maintain, and utilize source formats in conjunction with the Director of CRM administration to ensure efficient and accurate data entry procedures that cater to the specific needs of constituents across campus.
    • Develop, deliver, and maintain template libraries, standard queries and ad hoc or custom reports within Slate
    • Coordination with colleagues in Admissions to execute all recruitment, and admissions solutions through Slate, including but not limited to process, workflow, and communications designed to enroll prospective students.
    • Collaborate with creative services team and communications team to develop queries within mailing for targeted campaigns, drip marketing initiatives, and event communications
    • Implement monitoring procedures aimed at identifying and consolidating duplicate records within the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for the admissions office. Maintain integrity of data to ensure accuracy in data flow via Constituo to Banner student information system
    • Ensure data security and privacy through adherence of FERPA regulations
    • Assists with the building and maintenance of reports in Argos and running ad hoc reports from the RPTS database as needed using SQL
    • Manages integration of data between Banner and other internal/external systems
    • Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with business owners and system analysts


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Business knowledge of Banner systems and/or Higher Education Administration.
Knowledge of SQL – ability to query databases.
Knowledge of Slate CRM (or other comparable CRM) required.
Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and effectively communicate both verbally and written.
Ability to identify system or security problems and develop solutions and options
Project Management or Team Leadership experience.
Strong customer service orientation.


General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

This individual has a close working relationship with the Registrar, Financial Aid & Scholarships, International Programs, A-State Online, and Academic Affairs business owners, the functional users, ITS, and other university support constituents.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ellucian Banner knowledge preferable.
- Knowledge of Adobe Professional and CMS for web content management and ability to use these applications.
- Experience in Project Management or Team Leadership
-Completion of technical training in computer science, data processing, or a related field acquired from a vocational, military or industrial setting
This position has been identified as a telecommuting position. The duties are performed during standard work hours of 8am-5pm at a predefined and approved work location. Individuals filling this role must have dedicated work space that provides privacy and security related to the work being performed. Additionally, individuals must have secure internet access with appropriate upload/download capabilities to perform the duties associated with the position. Individuals in this position will be required to review and acknowledge the Telecommuting Guidelines and Telecommuting Agreement for A-State.


Minimum Qualifications:

The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Three (3) years of experience in computer support
Other job-related Education and/or Experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval or the qualifications review committee.
