Location: Boston, NEW YORK
Deadline: ;

The Data & Student Services Associate (DA) provides data entry and integrity support to a team of 27 Co-op Faculty and Staff in the D’Amore-McKim Cooperative Education department. This role provides direct support to a team of 5 Co-op Coordinators (faculty) and to the students and employers those Co-op Coordinators coach through the co-op search and placement process. The DA will report to the Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives and will provide support to the D’Amore-McKim Co-op team in three main areas: Departmental Operations & Data, Student Data, and Employer Data. The DA will be one among a 4-person Data Team whose main responsibility is the creation and maintenance of data integrity tools and the department’s overall business & operations processes.

Department Operations & Data:

DAs participate in the development, review, and implementation of business processes together with the Associate Director, Strategic Initiatives; related tasks include creating and updating process documents, schedules/calendars, templates, and trackers in support of new and ongoing processes. As stewards of D’Amore-McKim Co-op’s data, DAs provide NUworks support (Northeastern’s co-op posting & placement system) to our team’s major stakeholders to ensure information is recorded and displayed accurately and efficiently, and they both create and run regular reports to maintain a high-level of data integrity. DAs also manage department events, both virtually and in-person (where public health concerns allow)—including pre-event, event, and post-event logistics.

Student Data:

DAs manage our team’s co-op placement and contract process, communicating regularly with students and their Co-op Coordinators to obtain co-op placement details and ensuring that students are registered for the co-op placeholder course most applicable for their unique placement. The Data Team, in partnership with D’Amore-McKim Co-op’s Global Team, also manages the CPT work authorization process for international students placed in domestic co-ops, providing direct support to students as they navigate the CPT process.

Employer Data:

DAs serve as a crucial touchpoint for the team’s inbound co-op job leads, tracking contact and referral information to gather insights about our pipeline. They also assist new and existing employer partners as they acclimate to the NUworks system, post co-op jobs, host networking events, and (for out-of-region programs) navigate the on-campus interviewing process.
