Vice Chancellor- Finance & Operations 

The Data Analyst in Business Intelligence work on a collaborative team to build reporting, analytics, automated processes, and applications for the S&T community using the Microsoft stack of BI tools. This position requires continuous attention of time-to-value for analytics, data quality, best practices for measurement and visualization, and data security. Analysts will participate and make significant contributions to enterprise data cross all data domains. 

The hire may be required to come to the S&T campus at their own expense for meetings, training, troubleshooting, etc. The rest of the time the position will work remotely.

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, economics, or related field
  • At least 2 years' experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps etc.).
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with python and strong knowledge of pandas, NumPy, and Selenium.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
  • Experience in higher education

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $68,200-$85,000 annually. 


Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
