Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a passion for clinical research, strong analytical skills in Biostatistics and Epidemiology, and interpersonal skills to join our multidisciplinary team. As an integral member of our research team, the candidate will play a key role in research design, data management, data analysis, and publications.
You will!
- Perform data cleaning tasks such as checking for errors, inconsistencies, and missing data.
- Prepare datasets for analysis by using statistical software to merge and append datasets and to recode and derive variables.
- Generate statistical results such as tabulations and summary statistics, and analyze data where appropriate for investigator initiated and collaborative research.
- Produce data tables, charts, graphs, and reports, and interpret analysis results.
- Help draft analytic sections for manuscripts and help plan analyses for grant applications to support future research.
- Present study results at institutional meetings.
- Work in collaboration with clinicians, data coordinators, data assistants, and other research team members.
You have!
- Proficiency in a statistical programming language, including but not limited to R or SAS
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interest in learning and applying the fundamentals of rigorous data management and statistical analysis practices.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree with coursework in applied data analysis or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in the execution of research projects related to healthcare delivery either in a work environment or in an academic program is a plus.
Hours: 2 days remote, 3 days onsite
