Description of Work Unit
The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics centers its research, teaching and outreach activities in defined areas of excellence: agricultural education, agribusiness management and finance, livestock systems, consumer choice and the economics of water, land and environment. Position Summary
Contract, Continuing or Temporary/Adjunct Faculty (CCAF) positions may open in order to address teaching and instruction needs in the department. This appointment follows the Teaching career pathway: Instructor/Senior Instructor/Master Instructor. This appointment will be located in Denver, Colorado SPUR campus location.

Required Job Qualifications
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to work with culturally diverse communities among potential target and constituent populations
  • Additional required qualifications, classification and appointment terms including salary determined by specific position to be filled
  • The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by course start date; the department will not provide visa sponsorship

Instructor: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution and one to two years professional experience
Senior Instructor: Instructor or Master’s degree and five years relevant professional experience
Master instructor: Senior Instructor appointment or terminal/equivalent degree in discipline related field plus 10 years relevant professional experience
Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Terminal or Professional degree(s) in discipline related to specific posting
  • Teaching experience in a higher education setting
