Compensation :
Pay Range: $30.70 - $49.90 / hour

Job Description:
To evaluate cytologic preparations microscopically to determine presence or absence of malignant cells, pre-malignant changes or inflammatory lesions and issue final or provisional diagnosis as appropriate. To include identification and subjective interpretation of disease processes. To handle cytologic specimens including accessioning, preparation and reporting, following quality control procedures and maintaining documentation. To perform cytopreparatory procedures, including troubleshooting when necessary to ensure consistent results. To assist with supply ordering. To serve as a technical resource to others. To orient new employees as needed.

Bachelor's degree in a science related field, completion of a CLIA approved training program in Cytotechnology and three (3) years of related experience required. Currently credentialed with Cytotechnologist (CT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required.
