CVM Office Receptionist

The Office Receptionist performs a broad range of administrative and fiscal related duties and serves as a receptionist for the college. Position duties include but are not limited to: greeting visitors in the Dean’s suite; alerting staff of guest arrivals; answering phones; responding to inquiries by phone or in person related to general college information, basic academic policy and procedure, etc. Provides general administrative and clerical support including but not limited to: sorting and distributing mail; room/facility scheduling; general clerical support for the college; maintaining office supply inventory; ensuring the lobby is presentable, kept clean, and organized; and assists with and/or coordinates office events and celebration logistics. Serves as an expense data entry specialist and travel initiator and assists in processing reimbursements for faculty and staff in the college. Position located in Columbus, Ohio.

Minimum Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED. This is an entry-level position (0 years experience required), 0-2 years relevant experience preferred. Basic computer and office equipment skills.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Experience with MS Office 365, using Workday for travel and purchases preferred.

Working Conditions

Sitting and standing for long periods.  Ability to lift packages (with or without assistance) of up to 15 pounds.

Target Salary Range: $15.29 - $20.41 per hour
