Grand Canyon University is seeking a full-time Customer Solutions Representative. Primary responsibility is to provide customer service to Canyon Promotions customers (internal / external) for print graphic projects to include but not limited to Large Format Print Graphics (e.g., banners, vinyl decals), Small Format Print Projects (e.g., post cards, flyers, and brochures) as well as assisting with beautification projects. Sourcing product within customer budget and deadline, ordering print graphic products and creating work tickets for delivery and installation.

What you will do:

  • Gather customer needs and identify best sources for desired print and graphics products; assist with pricing to maintain cost margins and seek approval on delivering quote to customer.

  • Contact vendors to place orders and confirm in-hands date to be able to meet agreed upon customer deadline.

  • Place customer orders tracking through automated system.

  • Keeping customers informed about their orders regarding delay or ready for pick up or anticipated delivery date.

  • Assist with reconciliation of printed projects and invoices and reconciliation of billed merchandise orders with receipt of payment.

  • Conduct research on vendor sources on ongoing basis to build merchandise offerings.

  • Contribute to department success by assisting as needed in all areas.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Solid knowledge about customer service practices and principles.

  • Skilled in ability to engage with customers building rapport to influence their purchasing decision.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Aptitude for learning and willingness to learn product offerings and product limits of customizing materials so as to provide timely and accurate information to customers.

  • Ability to work as team member in a highly collaborative environment.

  • Ability to concentrate in an environment that is high volume customer/staff interaction with frequent interruptions.

  • Basic computer skills; must be able to utilize e-mail functionality for corresponding.

  • Ability to cope with changing priorities and deadlines in a professional manner and work effectively while under stress.

  • Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well.

What you need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration preferred.

  • Minimum one year experience working in similar product sourcing company or two years working in telemarketing environment.

  • Previous work experience in fulfillment environment or purchasing department.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigations.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends.
