Job Description Summary:
Entry-level ASP.NET C# Developer with hands-on experience in DevOps practices. Responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining ASP.NET C# applications, while also contributing to the implementation of DevOps principles for streamlined integration and deployment processes.
This position will be working in a team relationship with other members of the Internet Development Unit that include database administrators, developers, and graphic designers.
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a talented and motivated entry-level ASP.NET C# Developer with hands-on experience in DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining ASP.NET C# applications, while also contributing to the implementation of DevOps principles for streamlined integration and deployment processes. A highly adaptable and cooperative professional, able to work well with others in a diverse and evolving work environment.
Job Description:
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. A combination of education and relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year-for-year basis.
Work Experience:
Proficiency in ASP.NET C# development and object-oriented programming principles
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Strong communication as evidenced by application materials.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience:
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Skills:
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

Job Description
Develop, test, and debug ASP.NET C# applications according to project requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
Utilize DevOps practices to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes for improved efficiency.
Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (Azure DevOps).
Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
