Department Summary

The University of Oregon Intercollegiate Athletic Department's primary purpose is to provide a unique opportunity for student-athletes to be developed, tested, and encouraged to reach their maximum potential in every aspect of their lives. It is the steadfast goal of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to provide the most outstanding student-athlete experience by helping them to achieve excellence, both in the classroom and in their chosen sport. The department has approximately 280 administrative & classified employees and hosts over 600,000 spectators annually and represents the University of Oregon in athletic competition with other universities & colleges.


Position Summary

Perform a wide variety of routine custodial and labor tasks at Jane Sanders and Mac Court as a custodial team member, and occasionally assist with custodial-labor tasks at other Athletic Department facilities and practice fields; provide event support for athletic and non-athletic activities/events as needed. This position works under the daily supervision of the Operations Facility Supervisor, as directed by the Facility Operations Manager. This position generally works a Monday-Friday work week from 7 AM-3:30 PM. This position works a flexible schedule that will change based on the needs of Athletic Department activities & events.

Special Requirement:
• A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain UO Driver's Certification to drive University vehicles.


Minimum Requirements

• One year of work experience providing a service-type function (customer service, custodial service, etc.) in a reliable and consistent manner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years (2) Custodial experience in a facility >100k square feet.
• Event set up and break down experience.
• One (1) year or more using floor cleaning equipment/floor care.
