Position Purpose | Set rooms for yearly camps, conferences, and other events, as requested. Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance. Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains. Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner. Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster. Clean entry ways, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents. Replace light bulbs, as needed. Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed. Snow removal, as required. Report to the Physical Plant by job request anything that needs repairing or replacing. Perform additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel. Assist or relieve relief custodian, as assigned. |
