This position has an overnight schedule; typically Sunday/Monday-Thursday/Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM or 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM depending on business needs.

Summary of Duties:

Leads assigned personnel performing various custodial duties. Performs custodial tasks to maintain the appearance, cleanliness and care of facilities within an assigned area.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Floor Care: 35%
  • Cleaning/Sanitizing & Trash/Recycle: 25%
  • Lead Responsibilities: 20%
  • Dusting and Detailed Cleaning: 5%
  • Event Setup/Move Furniture & Equipment: 5%
  • Miscellaneous: 5%
  • Other: 5%

Required Qualifications: Physical ability to do required work and one year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance, or custodial work OR one year experience as a Lead; OR equivalent education/experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have or be able to obtain at time of hire, a valid driver’s license.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Ability to communicate effectively. ­
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and proven ability to read and write. ­
  • Experience stripping, cleaning, buffing and applying finish to floors following policies and procedures.
  • ­Experience using wet/dry vacuum, buffers, polishers, and auto­scrubber. ­
  • Experience with carpet care and upholstery following policies and procedures, including.
  • Experience using bonnet method, shampooers and extractors.

Monthly Salary: Range #35, $2,890 - $3,821–Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
