This is a full-time benefits-eligible position. Position Purpose
Supervise custodial operations to ensure timely and sufficient custodial coverage to include: Plan, schedule, and coordinate tasks, assign daily, weekly, and monthly projects. Maintain knowledge and familiarity of university facilities, university policies and procedures, FPO policies and procedures, chemicals, and equipment. Oversee projects in progress and hear and resolve customer questions and complaints. Supervise custodial staff to include: interview, recommend new hires to Assistant manager, train employees, schedule staff, inspect work to maintain quality, conduct performance appraisals, hear and resolve employee questions and concerns, administer discipline according to University and FPO policies and procedures, and maintain confidential files on each employee. Coordinate safety training and enforce safety rules and regulations. Assign daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to employees. Assist Assistant Manager to include: preparing reports and compiling statistics, monitoring and recommending expenditures for the budget. Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, scheduling practices, etc. to ensure optimal utilization of resources. Assist in the communications with all departments to ensure customer service is foremost and their needs are met. Assist in the design, planning, and execution of projects. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience
1. Four years custodial experience in an industrial, commercial or educational setting.
2. Two years supervisory experience.
3. Experience in a University, hotel or conference center setting preferred.
4. Event coordination, planning and scheduling experience preferred.
