Position Title	Custodial Group Leader
Additional Information	Ball State University Housing department has an opening for a custodial group leader. Under general supervision the custodial group leader will direct, lead, assign and perform custodial work required for the cleaning and maintenance of facilities following proper procedures and techniques for equipment and cleaning products. Position Function	Under general supervision, direct, lead, assign, and perform custodial work required for the cleaning and maintenance of facilities following proper procedures and techniques for equipment and cleaning products.
Minimum Education	1.High School graduate or equivalent (GED).
Minimum Experience	1.Two (2) years custodial experience. 2.No allergies to soaps, cleaning agents, chemicals, or environmental factors in custodial service. 3.Must be able to climb/use ladders, scaffolding, and/or manlift of various heights to perform duties. 4.Must be able to read and comprehend all specified policies and procedures for safety, hazardous materials information, and University policies, procedures, and communications, and perform basic mathematical calculations. 5.Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy. 6.Must be able to perform all mental and physical requirements as outlined in each job duty. 7.Must successfully pass manlift certification, if position requires it, within a reasonable period of time after hire 8.You must be 18 years or older.
