The University of Washington’s Continuum College (UWC2) has an outstanding opportunity for a Curriculum Design Specialist within our Learning Experience (LE) team. In support of LE’s mission to provide high-quality educational experiences for traditional and non-traditional learners, the individual in this role collaborates closely with faculty, instructors, subject matter experts, and learning designers to develop inclusive program and course curricula and assessments. 

The ideal candidate is an expert in designing outcomes, assessments, and content plans for entire academic programs as well as individual courses. The Curriculum Design Specialist will work with individuals, departments, and programs across the University to plan new academic programs, revise existing programs, align program and course outcomes, and develop or revise assessment approaches across a range of modalities (e.g., in person, hybrid, online). This role will also collaborate with our faculty, instructors, and program managers to support data collection strategies, assist in the implementation of microcredentials across programs and courses, and be a leading voice for authentic assessment practices across our portfolio.
