Start date of this position:  September 2, 2024 (Fall 2024 Semester)

Required Degree: Bachelors in Dance required; Masters Degree in Dance preferred.  

Must have required degree by start date. 

Experience:   Experience teaching at the university level

Duties/Expectations: 

We seek an expert in the practice and theory of various cultural dance styles, to fulfill a vacancy as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Dance. The candidate's primary duty will be to teach 1-credit courses in cultural dance at the beginning or intermediate levels. The candidate should have an advanced level of experience with the practice and teaching of cultural dance styles and experience as an artistic director and choreographer. The candidate will be working under the cultural and tap dance coordinators and the area coordinator. Required meetings will include university conference, monthly area meetings, and any additional meetings as called by the coordinator.
