Culinary Support Center (CSC) Worker

The Culinary Support Center (CSC) is a behind-the-scenes operation that provides support for all culinary locations that produce products like our famous cougar tails and ice cream. We are located north of Heritage Halls behind the creamery outlet. It is a fun environment that will give you hands-on experience in a student-driven environment. 

We have positions for Pastry Helper, Bakery Helper, Doughnut Production, Freight, Sandwich and Salad Maker, Dish Machine Operator, and Produce Room 

The hourly wage is $14-17/hr, meaning $12-15/hr for your paycheck + $2/hr of Dining Credit.

What you'll do in this position: 

  • Making all kinds of desserts
  • Organizing brownie and cookie orders
  • Pulling meat out of the sous vide tank and getting it ready for orders.
  • Making the fruit trays and vegetable trays. 
  • Making Sandwiches, Green Salad, Compound Salad, Meat & Cheese; Relish and Cheese trays, and Cream Cheeses. 
  • Washing dishes used by production. 

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

  • Able to obtain Food Handlers Permit through Y-Train within two weeks of your first day (if you don't have one already)
  • Be responsible. 
  • Willing to work efficiently throughout your shift. 
  • Positive attitude.
