Position Summary
CSU Dance is looking for a highly motivated and capable dance education specialist interested in helping to organize and coordinate the EDUCATION IN MOTION Professional Development Seminar. The seminar invites pK-12 educators from across Colorado to CSU for a week of in person classes and workshops focused on integrating movement into the general classroom.
This position will work approximately 10 hours in preparation, and then more intensely the week of the seminar. Approximately 40 hours total, paid $15/hr.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Administrative duties including promotional work, preparation of information packets, materials/supplies, etc.
  • Preparation of Dance Tool Boxes for participants including developing lesson plan content and materials.
  • During the week of the seminar, assisting with seminar presentations, technical support, processing photos and video recordings of presentations and administrative support as needed.
  • Position Minimum Qualifications
    An associate degree (or the equivalent of 2 years education) in Dance Education or a related field.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Applicants should be able to work well in a team environment and be able to communicate well through different mediums
