Position Focus:

Yale Summer Session (YSS) is seeking a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist reporting to the Director of Online Education & Information Technology. The CRM Specialist will be responsible for the department’s CRM systems, Technolution’s Slate, and Cvent.  The Specialist will be an integral part of the YSS team responsible for the administration, development, performance, configuration, maintenance, testing, and user training of the CRM platforms. In addition, this position will support the operational and strategic reporting requirements of the department.  The Specialist will also assist in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of YSS data for its use in the administration of YSS functions. Continually research and develop best practices for department business systems to leverage technologies to meet present and future requirements. Responsible for documenting student information processes and procedures. The Specialist serves as a steward of student records and performs duties with utmost security and confidentiality, and in a timely manner. The position is hybrid with 3 days in the office and two days in the home office. With possible summer schedule of one day in office, 4 days home office.


Essential Duties

1. Brings together business administration and technical knowledge to the project management aspect so that projects are appropriately sized, scheduled, and completed as required. 2. Performs essential administrative support to coordinate a technical team in their project management duties working closely with the client group on a project. 3. Evaluates, selects, and applies standard management administrative techniques, procedures and criteria to assist project manager with all financial aspects of project so that projects are managed to the agreed upon budget and deadlines. 4. Schedules meetings and locations with project team and client groups to keep the project moving forward on schedule. 5. Takes minutes, assists with project report production and reproduction and develops presentations for project planning meetings to keep team informed. 6. Arranges training for project staff. 7. Participates in budget administration to keep projects on budget, communicates to team and clients if overages are likely to occur, and recommends alternatives to bring project back on budget. 8. May work closely with other departments such as HR and Legal to identify other areas that may need to be accommodated in a project. 9. May perform other duties as assigned.


Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
