Assistant Professor

The Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is recruiting an outstanding candidate at the Assistant Professor level to further develop its excellent research program.

We seek a PhD scientist with the ability to build and maintain an internationally recognized, extramurally funded research program. The division is looking for a faculty member who is focused in one or more of the following areas: behavior change, implementation science, population health, health disparities, clinical research informatics, health services research, palliative care and substance abuse. Valued assets include scientific accomplishment and drive, backed by primary research publications, collaborative and interpersonal skills and peer-reviewed extramural funding consistent with seniority.

Faculty Rank is dependent upon years of experience (0-7 years for Assistant Professor), fellowships completed.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $90,000 - $130,000. 

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

  • Fellowship experience will be considered under years’ experience
