The University of Miami Emergency department has an exciting opportunity for a Per-diem Critical Care Technician.

The Critical Care Technician, conducts drug utilization review studies, and consults with medical
practitioners on prescription orders, patient reactions, and errors. Additionally, this employee works closely
with patients and healthcare providers to provide information and guidance about the effects of prescription
drugs and help plan effective drug therapy programs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Certification
• Licensing: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) OR Paramedic (PMD) License
• Certification: BLS-Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/ ACLS / PALS
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
