Critical Care - Special Faculty Nurse

Join Creighton University as a Special Faculty member to help teach students how to become compassionate nurses!  College of Nursing in Phoenix, AZ is hiring experienced Registered Nurses who are committed to excellence and quality patient care for full and part time Faculty roles.  

 

Special Faculty typically work 12-18 hours per week. Clinical rotations are 8 weeks.

Provide direct supervision of students in the clinical areas. Oversee Labs and Simulations. Hours vary week to week depending on the number of sections in the lab.  

• Spring Term 1 (Jan - March): Peds & Mental Health, Community Health 
• Spring Term 2 (March - May): Med/Surg, Med/Surg/Critical Care, Community Health 
• Summer Term (June - July): Peds & Mental Health, Community Health 
• Fall Term 1 (August - October): Med/Surg/Critical Care, Community Health 
• Fall Term 2 (October - December): Med/Surg, Community Health 

 

Qualifications: 

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) (or earned doctorate in nursing) OR possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and be currently enrolled in a MSN program to be considered 
• Minimum of two (2) years in nursing and in the specialty role. Prior teaching in a clinical setting preferred.   
• A current unencumbered license as an RN in the state of Arizona, or eligibility for licensure
