Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
 The Entertainment Industry Studies program is seeking applicants in multiple areas of the entertainment industries to teach courses specific to his or her work expertise. Experience within the Fairs, Festivals, Theme Parks, Film & Television, Radio or Entertainment Tourism Industries is ideal. Successful applicants may come with a background in accounting, economics, branding, management, licensing, marketing, law, communication or talent representation. _x000D_
  • Assigned up to nine workload hours per semester.
  • Create syllabus, timeline of classes, for students each semester.
  • Provide meeting time for students.
  • Manage online grading system and submit grades in a timely fashion.
  • Abide by all relevant university and/or department procedures and policies.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of the programs and services offered by Belmont University.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
  •    
    Required Education Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required. Master's or terminal degree preferred.
       
    Required Experience Higher education teaching experience preferred.

     


    The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
