Job Summary | Student Experiences & Engagement is seeking a Craft Center Director. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Craft Center Director is an administrator within the Student Experiences & Engagement (SEE) organization and provides leadership for the Craft Center. The Director creates an environment that leverages the strengths of staff, colleagues, and stakeholders, promotes teamwork and accountability, and challenges all team members to grow. Responsibilities include providing vision and leadership for developing, implementing, and evaluating services in the 10,500 square foot Craft Center that allow students to create, destress, and renew themselves. |

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months. |

Working Conditions / Work Schedule | The working conditions for this role involve a busy public facility with frequent interruptions and noise. Work hours typically span Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends required. The worker may be required to sit or stand at a computer workstation for extended periods. The employee may encounter hazardous art materials and equipment, and the environment can be dusty, dirty, and have material-related smells. The role may involve lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. |
