This position will support the current and expansion initiatives of corporate and professional training by providing administrative support to the Administrative Officer for Training Solutions with training program deployment, adjunct instructor support, client relations, marketing, and event planning to achieve the Workforce Solutions division goals and objectives, and to foster the Virginia Western Community College (VWCC) and the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) mission, primarily through efforts and programs to enhance and advance the knowledge and competencies of the regional workforce. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted position that supports continued high-quality programming and high-level client servicing to our clients, training team, and community partners.

Special Assignments

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications
Experience providing exceptional customer service to diverse internal and external clients. Experience providing administrative support, as well as managing processes and procedures in a fast-paced office environment. Experience managing and organizing documents, files, and data, as well as creating reports. Experience planning, scheduling, organizing, and implementing professional events or gatherings. Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience completing tasks and projects in a timely manner.  Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Additional Considerations
Experience developing marketing materials. Administrative support experience with training initiatives. Experience using Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, Constant Contact, and/or Eventbrite.
