The Department of Computer Science and Engineering Technology at the University of Houston-Downtown is seeking Corporate Fellows to support faculty in one of two Engineering Technology Programs.  Engineering technology laboratory classes bring together the professor and a qualified industry expert to enhance classroom experiences by contributing industry context and expertise and supporting the instructor in classroom activities.

Corporate Fellows are not instructors of record. They are not responsible for grading or administering exams.  Corporate Fellows are considered temporary UHD employees and are compensated $1,600 for a 2-hour credit class and $2,400 for 3-hour credit class. The appointment as Corporate Fellow may be renewed depending on program needs.

Qualifications

 

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with more than 5 years of practical experience or Associate’s degree with more than 10 years of practical experience in their field.
