Reporting to the Associate Director of Student Enrollment Systems, the Coordinator acts in support of the efforts to ensure data quality and integrity for student life cycle from prospective students, to applicants, to admits, to registered students, to graduated students. Supports Associate Director of Student Enrollment Systems with reporting and analysis for the Office of Admissions, Registrar, and Student Financial Services.  Assists with management of data analysis and statistical evaluation including daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and ad hoc reports for admissions, registrar, financial aid and enrollment management.  Assists with training of new users on enrollment systems and querying of data. Possesses the ability to think critically about data management strategy in order to make recommendations on future improvements for long-term maintenance of student data.
2 years of related work experience.   Some prior experience using relational databases is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Must have strong computer skills, including ability to use Excel, Access and reporting tools. Experience in academic environment strongly preferred.  Knowledge and previous use of student information systems is desired.  Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new applications. Capacity to adjust quickly to shifting priorities and to work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills; above-average accuracy and attention to detail essential. Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred work experience in higher education, with knowledge of admissions, registrar and/or financial aid operations. Working knowledge of database mining, statistical research and/or use of BI reporting tools is desirable. Experience with products by Technolutions, PeopleSoft, and CollegeBoard is a plus.
This is a fully benefits eligible term position ending in December 21, 2017 with possibility of renewal.
