The Department of Student Services is seeking (1) Coordinator, Student Engagement who is flexible, a self-starter who is customer service driven, able to work independently, and willing to take a hands-on, proactive approach to resolving operational issues. This position is located at the Dunwoody Campus.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Under the direction of the Assistant Dean, this position is responsible for developing programs for the advisement and facilitation of student development through campus engagement, college-wide collaborations, and university-wide programming.
- Leads Dean of Students & Student Life staff in planning and implementation of campus engagement programs and coordinates college-wide, university-wide and off-campus training opportunities for student leaders. Oversees marketing efforts for the office and the Panther Activities Council through various media to include, but not limited to: advertising, press releases, websites, social media, events calendar, banners, flyers, brochures, newsletters and other items as assigned.
- Recruits, trains, advises and evaluates the Panther Activities Council executive officers and their committees to produce quality successful programs representative of the student body’s interests which support student recruitment, retention and the achievement of academic and career goals.
- Coordinates use of learning assessment tools to help assess and enhance students’ leadership development and learning beyond the classroom. Assesses and analyzes achievement of student learning outcomes and provide for ongoing student development programs.
- Develops and maintains programming budgets of the Dean of Students & Student Life office under the guidance of the Assistant Dean.
- Provides fiscal management for the Panther Activities Council’s fee funded accounts (administrative, personnel, and DS&S), Student Life Programming budget, and college-wide programming budgets; prepares and submits monthly expenditures, pre/post activity, and reconciliation reports; Negotiates contracts with vendors.
- Facilitates workshops and serves as a resource for student organizations. Works closely with Faculty, Staff, and RSO Advisors to facilitate awareness programs and productive leadership opportunities for students, and to enforce student activity financial and programming policies and procedures.
- Develops and facilitates training sessions and creates virtual resources for the use of student organization database / student involvement software.
- Responsible for program supervision for on/off- campus activities and evening/weekend programs. May supervise graduate assistants and graduate interns. May supervise student assistants.
- Reviews Special Event / Late Night Event registration forms, program plans, contracts for events and discusses event planning and risk management with student organizations as needed.
- Facilitates events and interactions that foster communication between student leaders and administrators. Communicates effectively with various and diverse constituents both on campus and in the greater university community.
- Administers assessments and gathers data to evaluate programs and uses this knowledge to enhance programming and meet the programming needs of the student body.
- Assists with the development of student learning outcomes, division assessment projects and ongoing program effectiveness evaluations.

Qualifications
:
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Master's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Three or more years of direct programming experience for college students. Knowledge of student development
