Minimum Qualifications	Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and two years of related professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications	A master’s degree in education is preferred.
Job Description Summary	The University of South Alabama’s South Alabama Research and Inservice Center is seeking to hire two temporary part-time Coordinator, Professional Learning – SARIC. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions	Enters professional development programs data into PowerSchool Professional Learning and PDMPlus. Assists in the creation of program offerings throughout the calendar year including the national board certification program. Works with the director to plan and implement professional learning programs throughout the calendar year. Maintains close working relationships with local school district administrators by meeting routinely with key administrators as a representative of the Center, the College, and the University. Meets with Alabama State Department of Education Personnel on site at site schools. Assists in the organization of office resources. Oversees the evaluation of professional learning programs. Manages PowerSchool professional learning and prepares resources for professional learning. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined by the needs of the center and additional hours as required. Related duties as required.
