Position DescriptionThe University of Louisville School of Music is seeking a creative, flexible, detail-oriented individual to join our team for the Communications & Marketing Coordinator position who values teamwork, excellence, and customer service. This position will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and implementing content for the School of Music's academic programs, concerts, and events through website, social media platforms, webpages and print media including newsletters, publications and other platforms. This position works in collaboration and alignment with the efforts of the college and within the university's branding and marketing and design system.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and produce promotional and recruitment brochures, concert and event posters, and other special items as needed.
- Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies.
- Design print advertising for mass media distribution.
- Assist with development and implementation a communications strategy
- Coordinate marketing and publicity for School of Music concerts and events with staff and faculty
- Manage college website and social media accounts (including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube)
