Coordinator for the International Network For Researching, Advancing, and Assessing Materials for Environmental Sustainability (INFRAMES)

Specific responsibilities include coordinating and catalyzing interactions between Duke faculty and outside entities in the public and private sectors related to public sector activities such as applying data science tools to monetize information, incentivizing the production of data on product performance and safety, and analyzing air and wastewater data in monitoring public infrastructure and environmental quality. Responsibilities also include coordinating the activities of the Wiesner Lab at Duke University while serving as the Coordinator for the International Network For Researching, Advancing, and Assessing Materials for Environmental Sustainability (INFRAMES).

Candidates should have a doctoral degree in environmental chemistry, environmental engineering, or a related field and previous experience in research management.

The successful candidate will serve as program coordinator for the Public Sector Innovation Initiative and INFRAMES and lab manager for the Wiesner lab. In addition to a background in laboratory experimentation, knowledge of program languages R and Python is highly desirable. Fluency in English is required and additional fluency in either French or German is highly preferred.
