Position Description


Job Overview

Under general supervision of the Dean of the Office of Undergraduate Studies and the lead direction of the Faculty Director of Service Learning, the Coordinator for Service Learning is responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks associated with auditing and updating the information in the S4 Community Partner Database in preparation for the onboarding of a new S4 Database created by the CSU Chancellor’s Office. The incumbent must be able to work collaboratively with staff, and community partners while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.  A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial in this position.

Position Summary

Coordinator for Service Learning & Civic Engagement (Administrative Support Coordinator I)

This is a part time (20 hours per week), temporary, non-exempt position ending on or before June 30, 2024. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range (part-time equivalent): $1,840 - $1,950 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range (full-time range): $3,680 - $5,783 per month
